On the other hand, the speaker wanted the audience to know of various ways through which they could engage actively in civic activities in the city. The speaker created an impression that he is an authority worth listening to early in the speech. He stated that he has been running Leading Miami, an organization that has been in the forefront of educating and inculcating leadership values in the youths of Miami. He then came forth as someone that has been in the fore when it comes to civic activities in the city of Miami. The speaker also employed the use of emotional appeal to capture the audiences emotions. He said that taking part in civic activiti
